May Bank Holiday Florals with OPI

Hey everyone!

Did you miss me??

Sorry I have been so busy with 2nd semester so far that I’ve hardly done any nail art at all 🙁

Luckily now it’s revision time – which means loads of time for nail art… (or revision if you’re a good student!)

So with the lovely weather this weekend, I decided to change my classy nude nails up a bit and add some cute stylised floral patterns in my favourite purple OPI shades.

Step by step:

  1. base coat!!
  2. three coats of Pale to the Chief by OPI and allow to dry completely.
  3. using a dotting tool (OR if you’re like me and didn’t bring one to uni, use a pin board push pin!) to draw on your flower designs.
  4. I put some of each polish onto some paper and then just dipped the tool into it to draw the flowers. (TIP: do all of one colour first to save swapping between the polishes or letting them dry out and wasting the varnish).
  5. Once completely dry, one layer of clear top-coat completes the look.

The purple colours used in this design are all from OPI – from light to dark: Lavendurable, DO YOU LILAC IT?, Style Unlimited and Suzi & the 7 Düsseldorfs.
